Church Life

Sunday morning service

We meet every Sunday at 10.30 a.m. We have a time of praise and worship and sharing of God’s word. We give room for the use of the spiritual gifts as led by the Holy Spirit. We often partake in communion as we remember together what Jesus did for us.

The children and young people go to their separate groups after the worship. Once a month the children and youth take an active part in the Sunday service.

After the service we have tea/coffee and cakes and enjoy fellowship together.

Every alternate Sunday evening from 7.00 p.m. is our interactive Bible Study on Zoom.

Coffee Morning

A warm welcome awaits you at KCC on the first Wednesday of each month. Why not come along and enjoy a hot drink, along with a delicious selection of sweet and savoury treats in a friendly and relaxed setting?

We meet from 10:30am to 12:30pm, so feel free to drop in at any time for a chat and some good company. Whether you’d like to meet new people, catch up with friends, or simply take a break, there’s always a place for you here.

We are also here to listen and offer prayer to anyone who would appreciate it, providing a space of care, support and encouragement.

Everyone is welcome—including your furry friends, who will receive a treat too!

We look forward to meeting you.

Prayer and Intercession

Prayer is central to life at KCC—it is where we seek God, grow in faith, and stand together in unity. We believe that prayer is powerful and effective, shaping not only our individual lives but also our church, our community and our nation.

We warmly invite you to join Pastor Neuza Peters and the prayer team every Friday from 10:30am to 12 noon. These gatherings are a dedicated time to come before God, lifting up our church family, personal needs and the wider world, while seeking His guidance, wisdom and direction in all things.

Throughout the year, we also set aside special times for corporate prayer and fasting. These are intentional opportunities to draw closer to God together, seeking unity, provision, spiritual breakthrough and clear direction for the road ahead. Details for these gatherings are always shared in advance so that everyone can take part.

If you feel called to stand in the gap for others and to grow in a deeper ministry of intercession, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Pastor Neuza for more information about joining the intercessors group.

Come and be part of what God is doing through prayer—you will be encouraged, strengthened and truly blessed. 🙌

Life Group And Bible Study

We believe that it is important to study and understand clearly the Word of God.

At the moment, we meet on Zoom every other Thursday at 7.30pm for a life group. This has been ongoing since the Covid lockdown. However, we are looking to expand this ministry to incorporate more people. We see small groups as a fundamental part of Church life where people get the opportunity to share more freely.

We also hold a fortnightly Bible Study on Sundays at 7pm on Zoom, studying individual books of the Bible together at a deeper level. We also plan to hold Bible studies in the church building in the near future.

Missions

As part of the Church ministry, we support organisations and Churches at home and abroad. Our most recent one was personally inviting a Church in the Ukraine to come and share with us their story and ongoing needs. We were pleased to host Zhenya Lemak from Christ For All Church, in Sumy for almost 4 weeks. Zhenya, alongside her husband Ivan, has continued to support their local community, and the military personnel, throughout the Ukraine’s conflict with Russia. It was our absolute privilege, alongside two other Churches in the UK, to be able to send Zhenya back to Sumy with a substantial amount of funds. Along with our other missionary contacts, our prayer and support will continue to be with them for the foreseeable future.

In support of missions, some of our children kindly use their creativity to raise money. This is encouraged and supported by the Church. These children are already using their talents in serving God’s Kingdom.

Baptisms

At KCC, we wholeheartedly believe in the importance and beauty of baptism by full immersion as a meaningful step of faith for both adults and children. We see baptism not simply as a tradition, but as a joyful act of obedience to God’s Word and a public declaration of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As individuals come to faith, baptism marks a significant moment in their spiritual journey—symbolising the leaving behind of an old life and the beginning of a new life in Christ.

We encourage everyone who has made the decision to follow Jesus to consider baptism as an outward expression of their inward transformation. For children, we approach this with care and guidance, ensuring they understand the significance of their faith and their decision. For adults, it is often a powerful testimony of God’s work in their lives, whether they are new believers or have come to this step later in their journey.

Baptism by full immersion reflects the example set in Scripture, representing the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. As a church community, we celebrate each baptism as a moment of joy, unity, and encouragement, standing alongside those taking this step and affirming their commitment to follow Christ.
