Women’s Ministry
We are pleased to announce that Kirkby Community Church Women’s Ministry is now up and running under the leadership of Margaret Ford and a team of dedicated women.
On the 18th October 2025, we had an afternoon of fellowship together where 38 women from various Churches came together to worship Jesus. Our theme for the event was ‘A Woman of Purpose’, taking our inspiration from Ephesians 2 v 10: For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. [NLT]
Joining us for the event was Alison Creak from Passion Church, Blidworth, who took us into a wonderful place of worship. Sharon Ridgewell also from Passion Church, and Catherine Northey from Life Spring Church Ollerton, gave inspirational talks on what it means to them to be a women of purpose. We had the privilege of having Zhenya Lemak with us from Christ for All Church, Sumy, Ukraine, who ministered to us beautifully, in song, in her own language. The meeting was led by Margaret and concluded with our Pastor, Neuza Peters, who brought everything together seamlessly by sharing on what it means to be a woman of purpose from a biblical perspective.
Our aim as women is to encourage each other to grow in our love for God, each other and to understand just how valued we all are. God has a plan and a purpose for all of us and we are stronger together!
Moving forward for 2026, our aim is to hold a series of monthly meetings, including worship, teachings, food and fellowship. The teachings will cover topics such as Prayer, Presence and Preparation. More details will follow early in the New Year.
